In today’s fast paced work environment, many senior leadership teams
find it difficult to set aside time for tackling the important or
difficult issues that may limit the team’s overall effectiveness.
Frequently, each leader is stretched, working to the best of his/her
ability within their own individual area of influence, and may lack
awareness of the organizational priorities of other senior leaders.
In some cases, a lack of trust or competing goals may exist between
some or all of the executive team members. Our executive team
assessment provides an accurate assessment of both the strengths of
your senior leadership team, and the opportunities that exist to
improve.
A senior consultant from the Peter Barron Stark Companies will
interview each member of the executive team, (one-on-one) either
on-site, or by telephone. Each leader will be asked for his/her
perceptions related to overall team effectiveness, communication,
teamwork, trust, leadership, strategic direction, performance
management, etc. After completing the interviews, the Senior
Consultant will prepare a comprehensive, written leadership team
assessment, summarizing strengths and opportunities for growth.
Recommendations will be provided to address concerns raised in the
lower rated areas of the assessment.
The Consultant will then present findings to the senior leadership
team and answer questions related to the findings. Next, the
Consultant will facilitate a discussion regarding actions that
should be taken to address areas identified as being of concern. In
some cases, the Consultant serves as an executive coach to
individual leaders, serving as a mentor. In other cases, the
Consultant facilitates team action planning meetings, and follow-up
sessions to assess progress. In still other cases, conflict
resolution interventions may be recommended.
We have worked on hundreds of executive assessments. While each
senior leadership team is unique, we are confident that we can help
your team clarify their direction, improve professional
relationships, and identify barriers that need to be overtaken in
order for your team to reach its full potential. |
