Leading Change (State Government)
This program has been specifically designed for managers and administrative
state legislative employees who work in environments that are experiencing rapid
change. In the last few years, many legislatures have been challenged by the
election of new members, increased customer and member demands, downsizing of
staffs, combined departments and activities, redesigned systems and procedures,
new management teams, budget cuts, or a refocused organizational culture. The
staff and administrative team members that emerge as leaders are the ones who
embrace and master these changes successfully.
Each member of your team is affected by the accelerated pace of change that has
taken place over the last decade. Some members will merely survive the winds of
change, often struggling every step of the way. Others will thrive on change,
seizing every opportunity to learn, grow and improve your organization. This
program is designed to help supervisors, managers, and employees learn the
secrets of "thriving" during change and ensuring a strong and successful future
for your organization.
